So I wanted to test out a new chibi style from a how to draw book I got, and some new shading techniques. This is squidbiscuit’s eel boy character, Kino. I wanted to draw him and used him to test out everything. I will admit I tried to imitate her coloring style so his colors would come out correctly while throwing in some of my style of shading. I felt he wouldn’t look right in the way I color, which is either flat coloring or just linework. I actually wanted to color him. I’m quite proud of how he came out, and I like my background :p Hope squidbiscuit likes it <3 I wasn’t sure on how his eyes were supposed to look, so I just threw a bunch of tints and shades of that beautiful color of teal.
